I decided to become a Dog Groomer after I groomed my own Westie a few times and found I really liked it. After searching on the Internet for a Dog Grooming Course I found Special FX which was Hazel's Dog Grooming College.

From the very beginning I received 'hands on' expert training from Hazel. She is very professional, easy to learn from and has a great sense of humour. I learned how to groom all the breeds of dog type grooms.

There were four other students on the course and we all received personal one to one training and at the end of the four weeks we wee raring to go and groom!

Two weeks later I plunged in at the deep end, having immediately started my own business and I was on a very steep learning curve, but thanks to Hazel's thorough tuition, and some hard work I am now booked solid 12 weeks in advance which is no mean feat considering I have only been doing this for just over a year! - with all my business coming from word of mouth for the last 8 months.

I recomend Hazel's Dog Grooming course very highly, it opened a new world to me and anyone wanting to take up Dog Grooming as a Profession will receive the same high standard of training I received.
