The training school operates within a mock grooming salon called 'Fido Sassoon', this allows our students to interact with customers and see their project of the day through from start to finish......it is a really good morale booster for our students to be able to converse confidently and see the customers reactions with the finished result.
At Fido Sassoon our clients appreciate that students are working on their dogs and are happy to leave them for longer than would be expected at a normal working grooming salon. This allows our students to work on their dogs with little pressure placed upon them for finishing. Again a personal opinion is that students gain much more confidence when they are allowed to work on their own particular dog until completion.
It is interesting to see how our students develop as groomers from mostly raw pet owners/dog lovers from week 1 through to week 4 - like a flower coming into full bloom!!!
Our aim is to provide you with enough skill and knowledge so that you can enter your new chosen career and confidently earn money from the time you leave our training school. To give you enough knowledge and insight to build a successful career and to provide instruction with the correct methods. We want to make your learning ENJOYABLE and FUN!
and give you a head start by not only be learning practical grooming and theory but also by gleening the experience of my last 28 years of grooming.

“After your training course you will have the skills and techniques to groom your customers dogs; you will have the knowledge to enable you to set up and run a successful business - but now it is up to you to follow your dream and to put all these things into practice.
You will be making your own decisions now but remember most of my students remain in contact with me after they have completed their course and I am only a phone call or a click of a mouse away if you need me.”
